Our Mission

Originally there is a missionary experience in Heart’s Home that leads young women to desire to incarnate the charism of compassion in the religious life. The Servants of God’s Presence were founded in 1994, a contemplative/active religious community. The congregation is recognized as a Public Association of the Faithful by the Bishop of Fréjus-Toulon (France).

The sisters live in small communities of five or six sisters. True and simple relationships with one another enable their companionship to be a help on their journey to God.

The days are rythmed by communal and personal prayer.

The sisters incarnate the charism of compassion:

  • by visiting their neighbors and the most suffering or lonely people,
  • by opening their houses to all and offering a loving and peaceful presence,
  • by fostering a spiritual education through catechism classes, youth groups, retreats or summer camps,
  • by being at the service of Heart’s Home.

The Servants of God’s Presence count today 32 sisters of five different nationalities. They are present in France, Peru, El Salvador and Argentina. Some sisters are temporarily living in a Heart’s Home Center (New-York, Switzerland, Ukraine, Brazil).

"Live to the full your dedication to God, so that this world may never be without a ray of divine beauty to lighten the path of human existence." (Vita Consecrata #109, John-Paul II)
